Start with the sheet
Cellulose acetate, worked properly
Acetate is a plant-derived thermoplastic, supplied as sheet. Almost everything a buyer notices traces back to that sheet.
Get the sheet wrong and no amount of finishing rescues it.
Colour through the section
Acetate is coloured as a sheet, not on the surface, so a scuff never reveals a different material underneath.
Heat-adjustable
It softens with heat, so an optician can fit it to the wearer. That is what makes a frame adjustable in store.
Takes a deep polish
The gloss comes from mechanical polishing, not lacquer — earned in the barrel and at the buff.
Density you can feel
Acetate is heavier than moulded plastic, and that weight reads as substance on the shelf.
Inside the work
Precision, and the hands that finish it
We pair CNC machining with hand finishing, and inspect at every stage rather than only the last.
A machine gets it accurate. A person gets it comfortable.
Advanced CNC machining
Precision machining sets the rim profile, lens groove and hinge seat — every tolerance the design depends on downstream.
Skilled hand finishing
Machined edges are worked back by hand. A frame off the cutter is dimensionally correct but not yet comfortable.
Multi-stage inspection
Quality is checked through the process, not only at the end — from incoming sheet to the final check before boxing.
Export-compliant packing
Internationally compliant packaging and documentation, prepared for the destination market from the outset.
Capacity, lead times and minimums depend on the model and the run. We quote those against your programme rather than publish an average.
